On the 3rd, the Panama-flagged vessel "Dinghe," loaded with 8,000 mt of steel products and plates, set sail from the Baosteel Finished Product Terminal in the Donghai Island Port Area of Zhanjiang Port, Guangdong Province, bound for Laem Chabang Port in Thailand. This marked the opening of Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.'s new direct shipping route to Thailand, and also the launch of the first direct shipping route from the Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Base to Thailand. It is reported that this shipping route adopts an international liner operation model, with fixed routes, scheduled production organization, shortened logistics cycles, improved turnover efficiency, and enhanced delivery service levels for exported products. In recent years, Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. has leveraged the geographical advantages of Zhanjiang Port to build a global shipping network. The successful operation of this shipping route to Thailand will further strengthen economic and trade exchanges between Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and Thailand as well as its surrounding regions.
