Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In July 2025, NIO Inc. delivered 21,017 new vehicles, pushing its year-to-date sales up by 25.2% compared to the same period last year.

Of those, the NIO brand accounted for 12,675 units, followed by 5,976 units from its family-oriented ONVO brand and 2,366 units from the FIREFLY brand that focuses on small smart electric vehicles.

As of the end of July, NIO's cumulative vehicle deliveries had reached 806,731 units, with 737,923 attributed to the core NIO brand, 58,599 to ONVO, and 10,209 to FIREFLY.

NIO Inc. also marked a production milestone with its 800,000th vehicle—a unit of the ONVO L90—rolling off the line at its advanced manufacturing facility in Hefei.

The ONVO L90 officially hit the market on July 31 with six- and seven-seat configurations. It starts at 265,800 yuan for outright purchase, or 179,800 yuan with NIO's BaaS battery leasing option. Deliveries has already began nationwide.

In infrastructure milestones, NIO completed its 80 millionth battery swap in July and achieved its "1,000-station expressway battery swap" target. This network now connects 550 major cities, alleviating range anxiety for NIO and ONVO users during long-distance travel.

Looking ahead, NIO brand is preparing to unveil its heavyweight model for 2025—the all-new ES8—later this August. The vehicle will hit the market at the NIO Day 2025 in late September, with deliveries to begin immediately upon market launch.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
