Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Li Auto delivered 30,731 vehicles in July 2025, bringing its cumulative deliveries to 1,368,541 units as of the end of the month, according to a post on the company's WeChat account.

While July's delivery numbers represented a moderate performance amid a typically slower sales season, momentum is expected to pick up with the launch of the Li i8—the company's first all-electric SUV.

Hitting the market on July 29, the Li i8 comes in three variants priced between 321,800 yuan and 369,800 yuan. Notably, its starting price mirrors that of the Li L8 REEV, positioning the Li i8 as a mainstream option within the brand's growing portfolio.

The Li i8 has been marketed as the culmination of a decade of R&D, blending the spacious comfort of an MPV, the versatility of an SUV, and the driving dynamics of a sedan—reflecting Li Auto's ambitions to redefine family-oriented mobility.

Chairman and CEO Li Xiang noted that the Li i8 has received strong user feedback since its debut, prompting accelerated production at the company's factories. Deliveries of the Li i8 are scheduled to begin on August 20, alongside the rollout of Li Auto's VLA large AI driving model and its intelligent digital assistant, "Li Xiang Tongxue."

Nationwide, Li Auto's retail network continues to expand, with 535 retail centers across 153 cities and 527 service and body shop locations covering 222 cities. As of the end of July, the company had also deployed 3,028 of its own supercharging stations, comprising a total of 16,671 charging piles across China.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
