All-new XPENG P7 model unveiled in official images, set for China debut in early August

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 30, Chinese new energy vehicle maker XPENG unveiled the official images of the all-new XPENG P7, with the Chinese debut scheduled for August 6, according to a press release issued by XPENG.

According to the official images released, the refreshed P7 features a sportier design, offering a more dynamic appearance compared to the current model. The front and rear design are similar to the 2024 P7+, incorporating a rear spoiler to enhance aerodynamic performance. The side profile of the renewed P7 presents a more athletic, coupe-like silhouette, now with flush door handles for a sleeker look.

The all-new P7 was also listed in the new vehicle catalog published by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in June. According to the catalog, the new vehicle measures 5,017mm in length, 1,970mm in width, and 1,427mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,008mm, featuring a unibody construction. It also offers optional scissor doors, front bumpers with collision protection, radar, and hidden door handles. At the rear, it has an active lift spoiler, with three distinct wheel options available, including low drag, contrast colors, and blacked-out designs, all featuring orange four-piston calipers.

In terms of power performance, the all-new P7 will be available in three variants, with two battery options: a 74.9kWh battery pack offering a CLTC range of 625km, and a 92.2kWh battery pack with a maximum CLTC range of 820km.

Positioned as a mid-size, all-electric coupe, the XPENG P7 first hit the market in April 2020, with the P7i edition following in November 2020. The model reached a significant milestone with its 100,000th unit rolling off the production line on March 23, 2022.
