【SMM Lithium Battery News Flash】Morocco's Investment Minister announced a MAD 5.5 billion joint investment by Korea and China new energy company to establish a lithium refining plant, creating 430 high-value jobs. This strategic project reinforces Morocco's position in the EV battery value chain, following June's inauguration of a 40,000-ton lithium-ion materials unit in Jorf Lasfar. Aligning with its 53% EV production boost target, Morocco aims to manufacture 107,000 electric vehicles annually by 2025 en route to its million-vehicle capacity goal.
