【SMM Lithium Battery News Flash】Ganzhou Green Eco is investing 500 million yuan to establish a power battery dismantling project, which will transform idle factories into modern production lines capable of annually processing spent NMC batteries to produce 7,914 tons of electrode powder, 1,180 tons of aluminum powder, and 1,300 tons of copper powder. The project adopts a comprehensive process including testing, discharging, shredding, pyrolysis, crushing, and screening to maximize resource recovery while meeting environmental standards. As a licensed hazardous waste processor, the company will support Ganzhou's ambition to become China's largest power battery recycling hub. With policy incentives, the government would provide 50 million yuan of subsidies and 2 billion Yuan of industry fund. Ganzhou has attracted 60% of Jiangxi's national enterprises, accelerating development of a full battery recycling industrial chain.
