Omai Gold Mines has reported the results of its infill and extension drilling program at the Wenot deposit, part of its namesake project in Guyana.
Since the beginning of this year, the company has completed drilling 37 holes, with a total drilling workload of 20,500 meters, exceeding the originally planned 15,000 meters.
The drilling continues to expand the known boundaries of the Wenot deposit, with sample analysis results reported for six holes, totaling 3,760 meters of drilling. Samples from the remaining holes are currently being analyzed.
The deepest hole, 25ODD-122, has reached a depth of 1,550 meters and will penetrate the Gilt Creek deposit and test the mineralization potential 600 meters below the adjacent Wenot deposit.
