According to foreign media reports, Finland has once again regained its status as the country with the most mining investment potential in the early 2010s.
The latest annual survey report on mining companies by the Fraser Institute in Canada shows that Finland has once again become the territory with the greatest mining investment appeal, followed by Nevada and Alaska.
The appeal of Canada for mining investment continues to decline, with only two provinces, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and Labrador, remaining in the top 10. Among them, Saskatchewan's ranking has dropped from 2nd in 2023 and 3rd in 2024 to 7th, while Newfoundland and Labrador ranks 8th.
