On July 25, AICC and autonomous driving AI tech firm Nullmax officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement

Beijing (Gasgoo)On July 25, Automotive Intelligence and Control of China Co., Ltd. (AICC) and autonomous driving AI tech firm Nullmax officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, according to a press release AICC issued via its WeChat account.

The two companies will collaborate closely on full-stack data loop development and end-to-end ADAS solutions, aiming to jointly advance the commercialization of autonomous driving technologies and foster a more robust industry ecosystem.

As a leading Chinese high-tech platform company in intelligent connected vehicle domain, AICC provides automakers with tailored ADAS solutions and integrated hardware-software systems. It follows a layered and decoupled architecture of“platform-based hardware – operating system – application software”to support the development of standardized industry platforms and promote the large-scale deployment of ADAS features.

Nullmax, leveraging cutting-edge computer vision and deep learning, has built its full-stack driver-assistance technology platform, MAX, encompassing applications, middleware, and cloud-based data systems. It has also launched a next-generation end-to-end driving technology—Nullmax Intelligence—which features a pure vision approach, map-free operation, and multi-modal fusion to support autonomous driving across diverse real-world scenarios.

Focusing on commercial implementation, the partnership will combine the strengths of both companies to enhance their technological capabilities. Joint efforts will include integrating end-to-end simulation and model training platforms, establishing a comprehensive data loop system, optimizing the algorithm engineering pipeline, and accelerating the productization and scalability of core algorithms. The two companies also plan to explore the practical deployment of end-to-end planning and control algorithms in commercial projects, thereby speeding up the translation of innovation into real-world application.

“Nullmax brings deep expertise in data-driven platforms and algorithm optimization, which perfectly complements our strengths in computing platforms and development toolchains,” said Cong Wei, CEO of AICC. “This partnership will help bridge the gap between technical validation and scaled deployment of ADAS.”

Dr. Xu Lei, founder, CEO, and CTO of Nullmax, added, “Our strategic collaboration with AICC enables us to more effectively meet the varied needs of automakers, and to accelerate the global rollout of driver-assistance technologies, especially by improving generalization in complex driving environments.”

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
