[SMM Prebaked Anode Market Flash] Recently, the first shipment of prebaked anodes from Bohai Bay Port of Shandong Port Group was successfully loaded and shipped from Weifang Port Area to Southeast Asia, marking the smooth opening of a new international market channel for the petroleum coke industry chain in the hinterland of Bohai Bay Port. "As the advantages of the 'Weifang-Southeast Asia' foreign trade general cargo liner premium route become increasingly prominent, we actively collaborate with upstream and downstream customers, as well as shipping and logistics elements, successfully opening up a new channel for prebaked anode foreign trade exports. This achieves a virtuous cycle of importing petroleum coke raw materials and exporting products, enabling 'Shandong goods to be shipped from Shandong ports' and promoting a qualitative leap in the port's cargo source structure from low value-added to high value-added," introduced Zhang Qionglei, Business Manager of the Marketing Center at Bohai Bay Port. The successful shipment of prebaked anodes is a microcosm of Bohai Bay Port's transformation and upgrading from traditional bulk cargo business to full-process customised services. It not only opens up a new logistics channel for the petroleum coke industry chain but also propels China-made high value-added products to leap forward into the high-end of the global industry chain.

Fed to Keep Large Banks' Capital Levels Unchanged, Postpones Stress Test Reforms Until 2027
The US Fed has announced that it will maintain the capital levels of large banks unchanged during the upcoming stress test cycle (corresponding to the 2026 cycle). At the same time, the US Fed is planning multidimensional reforms to this annual test, aiming to enhance its transparency. The US Fed's Vice Chair for Supervision, Bowman, revealed that adjustments to the stress capital buffer requirements for large banks will be postponed until 2027. This move is intended to provide the US Fed with sufficient time to evaluate potential flaws that may be exposed in its testing models when assessing banks' financial conditions under simulated economic downturn scenarios.
