Recently, the research paper "Inhibiting defect passivation failure in perovskite/Cu(In,Ga)Se2 monolithic tandem solar cells with certified efficiency 27.35%" was published in Nature Energy (impact factor 60.1). The research made an important breakthrough in that the jointly developed chalcogenide-copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) thin-film stacked solar cells achieved a certified conversion efficiency of 27.35 per cent, surpassing the world record of 26.3 per cent set by a Korean team and recently announced by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in the United States.
