India's Solar Manufacturing Sector Receives Key Investments to Boost Capacity Expansion

Recently, India's solar manufacturing sector ushered in two key investments, private equity firm Parishi Capital and start-up True Power, respectively, to increase capacity expansion, for India to achieve the 500GW renewable energy goals to give impetus to the Parishi injection of Navitas: 2.5GW module plant and 3GW cell plant planning to land. Surat-based Parishi Capital has invested $4.7 million (Rs 404.8 crore) in Navitas Solar to expand the capacity of its solar module plant in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to 2.5GW from 1.7GW.
