【SMM Aluminum News Flash】According to foreign media reports, Aluminz announced plans to build the first zero-landfill aluminum production facility in the United States in Titus County.The factory will be equipped with a 7.5 MW solar panel array and an emissions control system, which can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 90% compared to other recycled aluminum producers. The zero-landfill model will prevent approximately 60,000 tons of material from going to landfills each year.The facility is set to begin construction in the fourth quarter of 2025, with operations expected to start in the second half of 2027.
