[Solid-state battery: Xiba Generation 1 pouch solid-state battery completes short-term testing] Recently, Shanghai Xiba has collaborated with the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences to establish an advanced materials laboratory for solid-state batteries, and has joined forces with Shanghai Keyuan Guneng New Energy Technology for technological breakthroughs. They have completed the design of the first-generation high-specific-energy pouch solid-state lithium battery, which has passed short-term testing: energy density of 340 Wh/kg, homogeneous silicon-carbon anode, capable of 5C high C-rate discharge, and a 15% capacity decay at -20 ℃. Targeting eVTOL, it offers a single-flight range of 250–300 kilometers for a 2-mt vehicle, and is also suitable for humanoid robots and robotic dogs. The first-generation product is currently undergoing third-party certification. After passing, samples will be sent to customers to promote application implementation. Meanwhile, the development of the second-generation 360 Wh/kg and third-generation 400 Wh/kg batteries has been initiated.
