[National Energy Administration: Working with Relevant Departments to Formulate Policy Documents on the Construction and Renovation of Large-power Charging Facilities] Zhang Xing, Deputy Director-General of the General Office of the National Energy Administration, stated that in order to better address issues such as holiday travel that people are concerned about, the National Energy Administration is currently working with relevant departments to formulate policy documents on the construction and renovation of large-power charging facilities, encouraging local governments and enterprises to focus on scenarios like expressway service areas where vehicles can be charged and leave immediately, and to deploy large-power charging facilities according to local conditions. Next, we will strengthen overall planning and policy formulation, continuously improve the charging network, enhance the service capacity of facilities, vigorously promote pilot demonstrations, further build a high-quality charging infrastructure service system, and better meet the people's needs for purchasing and using NEVs.
