SMM Launches Tender for 628Ah Battery Cell for ESS

[SMM ESS 628Ah Battery Cell First Tender] On July 30, the announcement for the procurement of 628Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells was released by Diangong Shidai, a subsidiary of China Electrical Equipment Group Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd.
The bid inviter is Shandong Diangong Electric Group Co., Ltd., the project construction unit is Shandong Diangong Shidai Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Electrical Equipment Group Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd., and the procurer is China Electrical Equipment Group Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. A total of 76,823 628Ah LFP battery cells were procured in this tender, with a total capacity of 154.383 MWh. The delivery location is Jinan, Shandong, or a location designated by Party A.
It is required that the annual capacity of the respondent's battery brand should be no less than 1 Gwh, and a letter of commitment should be provided. Consortium responses are not accepted.
