[National Energy Administration: Steady Growth in Raw Coal Production in H1]
Xing Yiteng, Deputy Director of the Development and Planning Department of the National Energy Administration, stated that in the first half of the year (H1), raw coal production grew steadily, with the raw coal output of industrial enterprises above designated size increasing by 5.4% YoY. Oil and gas production also grew steadily, with the crude oil output of industrial enterprises above designated size increasing by 1.3% YoY, and the natural gas output of industrial enterprises above designated size increasing by 5.8% YoY. Excluding the impact of the number of days, the daily average power generation of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 1.3% YoY.
The capability for large-scale optimized allocation of electricity has been further enhanced, with ultra-high voltage DC transmission projects such as the Longdong-Shandong and Hami-Chongqing projects coming into operation and transmitting electricity. Since the peak summer electricity demand period, the country has effectively responded to a record-high electricity load of 1.508 billion kW, without implementing any orderly electricity use measures nationwide.
