The US White House announced that President Trump had signed an executive order to impose an additional 40% tariff on Brazil, bringing the total tariff to 50%. However, the White House also clarified that the increased tariff did not cover certain wood pulp, petroleum products, specific fertilizers, energy and related products, pig iron, and precious metals.
