According to foreign media reports, in the first quarter of 2025, India imported 420,000 tons of scrap aluminum, representing a year-on-year increase of 0.34%. Among this, scrap aluminum imported from the United Arab Emirates totaled 45,661 tons, marking a year-on-year increase of 20.37%, compared to 37,931 tons in the same period last year; scrap aluminum imported from Saudi Arabia reached 41,288 tons, with a year-on-year growth of 37%, up from 30,136 tons in the previous year; and scrap aluminum imported from the United Kingdom amounted to 37,302 tons, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 27.37%, as opposed to 29,285 tons during the same period last year.
