The Korea Trade Commission (KTC) has recommended imposing provisional anti-dumping duties ranging from 28.16% to 33.57% on hot-rolled carbon and alloy steel (HRC) imported from China and Japan. The investigation stems from a complaint filed by Hyundai Steel, alleging that low-priced imports have harmed the South Korean market. The Ministry of Economy and Finance of South Korea will decide by month-end whether to implement preliminary measures.
