The Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (CAMEX) announced its final ruling today:
An anti-dumping duty of $397.42-$1,207.76/mt will be imposed on stainless steel pipes from India.
A unified anti-dumping duty of $1,258.77/mt will be imposed on stainless steel pipes from Taiwan.
The anti-dumping duty on carbon steel API-grade seamless line pipes (with a diameter of 5-14 inches) from mainland China will be extended for five years, with the duty rate maintained at $779.99-$835.47/mt.
This investigation was initiated by the Brazilian Stainless Steel Association (APRODINOX) and involves the stainless steel distribution and processing industries. The ruling will take effect immediately and will significantly impact the export pattern of steel products from the relevant regions to Brazil.
