[Construction Commences on 60MW/240MWh Standalone ESS Project in Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang] On July 28, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 60MW/240MWh standalone new-type energy storage project of Weili Anfeng Fuhui in Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, was held at the PV industrial park in Weili County. The total investment for the project is approximately 200 million yuan, with a planned land area of 50 mu. It is invested and constructed by Xinjiang Anfeng Fuhui New Energy Co., Ltd., with a construction scale of 60MW/240MWh. The project's one-time energy storage capacity can meet the daily electricity demand of 17,000 households. Upon completion, the project will achieve efficient energy storage and flexible allocation through energy storage technology, effectively enhancing the stability and reliability of the power system. It will complement the existing new energy projects in the county, improve the utilization rate of renewable energy, and further enhance the new energy industry chain in Weili County.
