Recently, the project filing for the annual production of 100,000 mt of hard carbon anode materials for sodium-ion batteries by Hutan New Material Technology (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of Baiyunebo Mining Area.
The total investment for this project is RMB 2 billion, aiming to construct a 100,000 mt hard carbon anode material factory for sodium-ion batteries (the total investment amount is subject to the market price at the time of investment, the same hereinafter). Among them, the investment for Phase 1 of the project is RMB 200 million, with anode material production volumes of 1,000 mt, 3,000 mt, and 6,000 mt in 2025-2027, respectively; the investment for Phase 2 is RMB 600 million, with anode material production volumes of 10,000 mt and 20,000 mt in 2028-2029, respectively; the investment for Phase 3 is RMB 600 million, with anode material production reaching 30,000 mt in 2030; and the investment for Phase 4 is RMB 600 million, with anode material production reaching 30,000 mt in 2031.
