Australian Rare Earths Limited has achieved remarkable results in metallurgical testing for the Koppamurra rare earth project. The company has successfully produced mixed rare earth oxides from a large volume of enriched leachate. This achievement not only demonstrates the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of producing mixed rare earth carbonates but also achieves a magnetic rare earth recovery rate of up to 99% through a simple precipitation process. Currently, the company is focusing on enhancing the quality of MREC, with a particular emphasis on optimizing the impurity removal and redissolution steps, and has received $5 million in funding support from the Australian government. These efforts have further solidified AR3's leading position in the rare earth sector, providing greater flexibility for downstream processing and ensuring alignment with the specifications of its partner, Neo Performance Materials.
