Published: Jul 29, 2025 11:26
[SMM Flash News] Fresnillo plc released its Q2 2025 report, which showed that its zinc concentrate metal content in Q2 was 28,400 mt, up 12.5% QoQ, mainly due to the improved ore grade and increased processing volume at Saucito and Juanicipio mines, though this was partially offset by the reduced ore grade and recovery rate at the Ciénega mine. By mine, Fresnillo's zinc concentrate production in Q2 was 11,100 mt, Saucito's was 12,000 mt, Ciénega's was 100 mt, and Juanicipio's was 5,200 mt. Its production guidance for zinc ore in 2025 is 93,000-103,000 mt.
