Fuye Group plans to establish a subsidiary, Jiangxi Hefang Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., in Hengfeng Economic Development Zone, Jiangxi Province, to construct a new project with an annual production capacity of 180,000 mt of recycled copper cathode. After determining the unit responsible for preparing the environmental impact assessment report, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China and the Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment Measures (Order No. 4 of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment), the following information is disclosed to the public in accordance with the law: ⑴ Name of the construction project: Jiangxi Hefang Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.'s Annual Production of 180,000 mt of Recycled Copper Cathode Project. ⑵ Site selection: Hengfeng Economic Development Zone, Jiangxi Province. ⑶ Construction content: Using externally purchased copper scrap, copper ingots, and self-produced electrolytic residual anodes, among other copper-containing secondary resources, as raw materials, copper anodes are produced through melting in an anode furnace with pure oxygen combustion support. Using self-produced copper anodes as raw materials, copper cathode is produced through electrorefining combined with electrolyte purification processes, with copper anode slime and nickel sulphate as by-products.
