Italy’s PNRR AgriPV Project to Use Gonvarri Solar Steel’s 73 MWp Trackers

Gonvarri Solar Steel will supply 73 MWp of its 1P solar trackers for an agrivoltaic project in Campania, Italy. This project is currently the largest advanced agrivoltaic initiative under Italy's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The installation will combine solar power generation with intensive agricultural activities. Solar Steel's trackers feature 3-meter support pillars, 2.1-meter ground clearance, and customized tracking angles up to 50°, designed to accommodate crop cultivation and agricultural machinery access.

Project construction is scheduled to begin in the coming months. Solar Steel will provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including commissioning and maintenance services. The company notes this project aligns with its existing multi-product platform deployed in over 45 countries, with 26 GW of global installations.
