China, Egypt Sign MoU on Green, Low-Carbon Development Cooperation

On 10 July, under the joint witness of the leaders of China and Egypt, Liu Soushe, Deputy Director General of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and the head of the Egyptian Ministry of Environment signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Environment of the Arab Republic of Egypt on Cooperation in Green and Low-Carbon Development. The two sides will strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the fields of building an ecological civilisation, responding to climate change, saving energy and improving energy efficiency, and circular economy to promote sustainable development.
