Beijing (Gasgoo)On July 23, Shaanxi Automobile Group (SHACMAN) and China's EV charging facility operator TELD reached a consensus to deepen their strategic partnership, aiming to jointly establish an efficient energy replenishment system for new energy heavy-duty trucks, according to a press release SHACMAN issued via its WeChat account.

Zhao Chengjun, Sales Director of SHACMAN and General Manager of Shaanxi Auto Sales Company, highlighted that since the strategic partnership was initiated in June 2023, the two sides have achieved significant progress in areas such as integrated vehicle-charger sales and fast-charging technology upgrades—developments that have coincided with the rapid rise of the new energy heavy-duty truck market in China. Building on this strong foundation, SHACMAN and TELD are now expanding their collaboration across key segments of the industrial value chain, from vehicle production to charging infrastructure, to better meet evolving market demands.

TELD President Guo Yongguang emphasized the partnership's consistent focus on solving user pain points. "By accelerating the implementation of fast-charging solutions for mainstream heavy truck models, we are delivering comprehensive, scenario-based, one-stop solutions to users," he said. Notably, the two companies recently completed a joint technical validation of 900A high-power fast-charging technology in Chongqing, achieving a milestone of "10 kWh charged in just one minute."

During the meeting, the two companies identified three key areas for deepened cooperation, aligned with the broader growth trajectory of the new energy heavy-duty truck sector. First, in resource integration and network deployment, TELD will leverage its strengths in smart charging infrastructure and energy management to synergize with SHACMAN's vehicle manufacturing capabilities. This includes tighter coordination between terminal service teams and alignment of financial resources to accelerate the integrated development of new energy logistics scenarios and supporting energy networks.

Second, technology innovation will remain a central pillar of the partnership. The companies plan to continue co-developing in critical areas such as ultra-fast charging, automated charging, V2G (vehicle-to-grid) interaction, and big data applications. Initiatives include improving fast-charging efficiency and stability, exploring intelligent and user-friendly automated charging methods to reduce manual intervention and improve safety, and applying V2G technology to enable bi-directional energy flow between vehicles and the power grid. Additionally, data-driven insights will help better understand user behavior and vehicle usage, supporting ongoing product and service optimization.

Third, the partners will work together to establish industry standards for efficient, intelligent, and sustainable energy replenishment for new energy heavy-duty trucks.
