SMM learned that as of June month-end this year, on July 24, the new-type energy storage installations of Gansu's power grid exceeded 6 million kW, with a power storage capacity reaching 6.0693 million kW, capable of continuous discharge for 2.3 hours. The scale of new-type energy storage installations increased by 65.64% YoY, ranking fifth nationwide.
In H1 this year, the maximum charging power of Gansu's new-type energy storage was 3.63 million kW, with a charging volume of 1.642 billion kWh, improving the new energy utilization rate by 2.8 percentage points; the maximum discharge power was 3.91 million kW, equivalent to the peak capacity of four 1 million kW thermal power units. The comprehensive utilization hours of energy storage were 676 hours, ranking sixth nationwide.
