This significant partnership marks a crucial step for DeepWay in expanding into the Southern Hemisphere market.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- DeepWay, a Chinese technology leader in the field of new energy heavy trucks and intelligent freight solutions, recently signed a distribution agreement with its local partner in New Zealand and successfully delivered the first batch of smart new energy heavy-duty trucks, according to a press release issued by DeepWay on July 23 via its WeChat account.

DeepWay stated that this significant partnership marked a crucial step for the company in expanding into the Southern Hemisphere market, and an important milestone in the company's global strategy to grow its presence in the high-end international market, following its successful entry into Australia.

During the signing ceremony, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on product experience and technology. The New Zealand partner had the opportunity to closely examine DeepWay's smart new energy heavy-duty trucks, gaining insights into the vehicle's core advantages, such as its forward structural design, intelligent driving assistance system, battery layout, and long-range capabilities. "After participating in test drives, the customers were impressed by the vehicle's handling stability, energy efficiency, and driving comfort, offering strong endorsements of its performance,‌" DeepWay said in a statement.

At the signing event, representatives from both sides agreed that this collaboration not only reflected mutual trust and understanding, but also represented a shared commitment to promoting the green transformation of logistics as well as advancing sustainable development.

Moving forward, both sides plan to intensify their partnership through localized adaptations, including the establishment of an operation and maintenance service system, customized technological optimization, and the deployment of charging infrastructure. Together, they aim to create an intelligent logistics solution tailored to New Zealand's unique geography and transportation needs.

As a leading force in the new generation of trucking, DeepWay remains dedicated to providing efficient, environmentally friendly systems through electric, intelligent, and low-carbon solutions for global trunk transportation. This collaboration in New Zealand not only offers the local market a green and efficient new choice, but also underscores DeepWay's growing international market presence and brand influence.

Looking ahead, DeepWay said it would continue to deepen its global market engagement, enhance its overseas service network and delivery capabilities, partnering with more international stakeholders to drive intelligent upgrades and the green transformation of the logistics industry.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
