[SMM Flash News] It is understood that the new mandatory national standard "Technical Specification for Safety of E-bikes" will be officially implemented on September 1. The standard stipulates that vehicles produced according to the old standard before September 1 will be granted an additional three-month sales transition period, allowing the continued sale of vehicles adhering to the old standard until December 1. He Yaqiong, Director of the Consumer Goods Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated, "We recommend that consumers prioritize purchasing new standard vehicles with higher safety and better practicality starting today to reduce potential safety hazards around them."
