[Low-sulphur petroleum coke prices rose slightly from 7.21-7.25, with strong expectations for price stability]
This week, low-sulphur petroleum coke prices showed a slight upward trend, with an average market price of 3,885 yuan/mt. On the cost side, the prices of upstream raw materials remained stable. In terms of supply and demand, a favorable pattern of robust supply and demand emerged, with market supply maintaining a relatively adequate level and downstream demand steadily rebounding, jointly driving continuous improvement in low-sulphur petroleum coke shipments. Driven by both cost support and the recovery of downstream demand, low-sulphur petroleum coke prices achieved a slight increase this week. Looking ahead, it is expected that the pressure on the cost side will ease somewhat, while end-use demand is anticipated to increase slightly, and the shipment trend will continue to improve. Based on a comprehensive assessment of factors such as cost and demand, it is projected that low-sulphur petroleum coke prices will primarily remain stable in the future.
