[SMM Flash News] It is learned that on July 24, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced that, in order to implement the State Council's deployment on the comprehensive rectification of safety hazards in the e-bike industry, promote the implementation of the mandatory national standard "Technical Specification for Safety of E-bikes" (GB 17761—2024), and accelerate the market supply of high-quality e-bike products, the MIIT, the Ministry of Public Security, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the National Fire and Rescue Administration recently jointly issued the "Opinions on Strengthening the Implementation of Mandatory National Standards for E-bikes and Accelerating the Supply of New Products."

Sluggish Transactions in Domestic Secondary Crude Lead Market, Prices at 15,250-15,400 Yuan/mt

The domestic secondary crude lead market experienced sluggish transactions. As of February 6, 2026, the ex-factory tax-exclusive offers for domestic secondary crude lead stood at 15,250-15,400 yuan/mt. Downstream refined lead and alloy smelters gradually entered the holiday period, showing weak stockpiling willingness. Overseas lead ingot suppliers basically halted transactions with China due to poor consumption in the Chinese market, with only some previously concluded shipments maintaining normal in-transit transportation. The trading atmosphere in the secondary crude lead market will continue to weaken next week.
