SMM July 25th:
According to customs data, China's aluminum profile exports (HS codes 76041010, 76041090, 76042100, 76042910, 76042990) reached 70,900 tons(-1.80%MoM, -27.28% YoY) in June 2025.
Breakdown by export origin:
Guangdong Province (51.82%), Shandong Province (15.06%) and Jiangsu Province (5.95%) were the top three export registration places in June. In June, the export volume of Jiangxi Province, Hebei Province and Shanghai increased, while the rest provinces showed a significant decline.
Top export markets:
Malaysia ranked first in June, accounting for 8% of the export volume; Vietnam ranks second, accounting for 7%, and Australia ranks third with 5%.
Market dynamics and Forecast:
Overall, the export volume of aluminum profiles in China in June 2025 was almost the same as that in the previous month, with a slight decrease of 1.80% from the previous month. According to SMM survey, the export of simple aluminum products reported by enterprises dropped significantly in June, while the export of industrial materials was still mainly customized products, and overseas customers were more active in inquiring about some extremely small markets. SMM will continue to pay attention to the timing and implementation of tariff policy adjustment in major exporting countries.
