On July 21st, Excellon Resources announced it has mobilized a mining contractor and begun underground rehabilitation at its 100%-owned Mallay Silver Mine in Peru. The company aims to restart silver production by mid-2026, targeting nameplate capacity of 600 tpd. Current efforts focus on cleaning and reinforcing key haulage levels, with rehab work expected to finish by November 2025. An updated NI 43-101 resource estimate is due by late August, followed by operational planning and in-mine exploration. Excellon is also advancing district exploration around the Mallay area.
