[SMM PV Express] According to data released by the German Solar Industry Association (BSW-Solar), Germany's PV installations have exceeded 107.5 GW, marking a significant milestone as the country officially crosses the halfway point towards achieving its 215 GW target by 2030. Despite the record-high total installations, the German PV industry is showing signs of sluggish growth. According to data from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), Germany's PV module imports in the first four months of 2025 decreased by 18% YoY, and domestic production contracted by 12%, marking the first double decline in nearly five years.
