According to SMM data, the exports of recycled copper raw materials from the US reached 88,700 mt in May 2025, up 4.73% MoM and 14.14% YoY. In terms of export destinations, Thailand ranked first with imports of 18,200 mt, up 24.32% MoM and 165.98% YoY, accounting for 20.51% of the total exports of recycled copper raw materials from the US in that month. India followed closely behind with imports of 15,500 mt, accounting for 17.51%. Canada ranked third with imports of 13,300 mt, accounting for 15%. In addition, China's imports in that month were 1,600 mt, accounting for only 1.8%.
