According to SMM, Anglo Asian Mining plc, a producer of gold, copper, and silver, announced that its Demirli copper mine, located in the Karabakh Economic Zone of Azerbaijan, has commenced trial production, with production expected to increase by the end of this year. The company stated on Monday that it anticipates producing 4,000 mt of copper concentrates in 2025. After 2026, the annual production of the Demirli copper mine will increase to 15,000 mt. The mine's operational lifespan will depend on further developments in geopolitical factors and the mineral resource model.
