[5.8 billion yuan investment for a 130,000 mt anode material project]
Recently, Suining Tianna Energy Co., Ltd. announced the first information bulletin for the environmental impact assessment of its project to produce 20,000 mt of sodium-ion battery materials annually. The project involves the construction of a facility to produce 20,000 mt of sodium-ion battery materials annually, with a total leased factory area of approximately 44,500 m².
According to "Suining Release", on March 31, a signing ceremony was held for the cooperation project between Suining Economic and Technological Development Zone in Sichuan and Tianna Technology. The signed "Sodium-Ion Battery Anode Material Industrialisation Base Project" is planned with a total investment of 5.8 billion yuan to establish an industrialisation base with an annual production capacity of 130,000 mt of sodium-ion battery anode materials. It is expected to generate an annual output value of approximately 4.5 billion yuan and annual tax revenue of 100 million yuan upon full production. After completion, the project will fill the domestic capacity gap for large-scale production of high-performance sodium-ion battery anode materials, injecting new momentum into the strengthening and extension of Suining's new energy industry chain.
