GameChange Solar Wins Contract for 450 MWp Solar Plant in Oman Supporting Green Hydrogen Production

GameChange Solar, a supplier of solar tracker and fixed-tilt racking solutions, has been awarded a contract by ACME Greentech Ventures FZCO. The contract involves supplying the Genius Tracker™ 1P Single Row system for a 450 MWp solar power plant in Duqm, Oman.

The Duqm project, located on Oman’s southeastern coast, faces various environmental challenges such as extreme temperatures, high winds, rugged terrain, and coastal corrosion. GameChange Solar’s Genius Tracker™ is designed to endure these conditions, ensuring structural stability, efficient installation, and optimal energy production. ACME is developing the project under Oman’s national hydrogen framework, targeting an initial annual production of 100,000 tonnes of green ammonia. Future phases aim to reach a total annual production capacity of 0.9 million tonnes of green ammonia, highlighting Oman’s strategic role in the global clean energy transition as a potential major exporter of green hydrogen and its derivatives.
