Püspök, an Austrian developer and operator of green energy plants located in Nickelsdorf, Burgenland, has recently completed its first hybrid power plant. This plant, which integrates wind power and photovoltaics, is part of the company's larger photovoltaic initiative. The 13-hectare installation not only generates solar energy but also allows for agricultural activities, specifically grazing by sheep. The solar modules installed have a total output of 14 megawatts.

Moreover, Püspök plans to add an electricity storage system to the hybrid plant in the coming year, which will further enhance its efficiency. Additionally, the company has announced its intention to construct more solar parks, with the goal of installing an additional 400 megawatts of solar power capacity by 2026. The construction of the next plant, Nickelsdorf II, has already begun on a 53-hectare site and is expected to reach 68 megawatts upon completion, with a planned commissioning date within this year.
