The latest data released by the General Administration of Customs show that in the first half of this year (H1), China's import and export of goods trade performed strongly, with a total value reaching 21.79 trillion yuan, a record high for the same period in history, up 2.9% YoY. Among the breakdowns, exports performed particularly well, with a year-on-year increase of 7.2%, while imports also grew steadily, with an increase of 2.3%. It is worth mentioning that China's import and export activities became even more active in June, with overall, export, and import volumes all showing year-on-year growth, and the growth rates accelerating. Particularly noteworthy is the situation of rare earth exports, with the monthly export volume in June reaching 7,742.2 mt, and the cumulative export volume from January to June climbing to 32,569.2 mt, surging 11.9% YoY.
