[Volvo Cars to Produce Popular Car Model XC60 at South Carolina Plant in the US] Volvo Cars announced on July 16 that its best-selling mid-size SUV model, the XC60, will enter production on the production line at its plant in South Carolina, US, with production expected to commence by the end of 2026. The plant also produces the all-electric flagship model, the EX90. In the first half of 2025 (H1), XC60 sales in the US increased by nearly 23%. Volvo Cars stated that the current global ownership of the XC60 has exceeded 2.7 million units and continues to grow.
