On July 18, Xie Cun, Director of the Information and Communication Development Department of MIIT, stated that efforts would be made to promote the digital transformation of the electronic information manufacturing industry, drive the high-quality development of new-type energy storage, advance the collection of typical cases for audio-visual systems in 2025, strengthen the promotion of smart health and elderly care products and services, as well as typical cases of smart sports, and promote the steady advantages and new opportunities of consumer electronics. Efforts would also be made to further improve the quality and efficiency of the software and information technology services industry, launch the "AI + Software" initiative, and accelerate the intelligence process of software. Concentrated efforts would be made to create high-quality open-source projects, deeply promote contribution-oriented evaluation of open-source talents, and foster a more attractive, inclusive, and creative open-source ecosystem.
