At 11 a.m. on July 15, a public meeting was held in the Wa State region of Myanmar, where the mining permit applications of several enterprises were approved (valid for three years). It is understood that after completing the payment of management fees and clearing physical taxes, the relevant enterprises are expected to gradually resume normal mining operations, and the local mining production order is expected to gradually recover.
Currently, there are signs of easing in the supply constraints of key materials required for mine production resumptions, with transportation controls on production supplies such as mining equipment and explosives being loosened. Industry analysts believe that as the bottleneck in material supply gradually eases, the likelihood of subsequent mine production resumptions being constrained by transportation links will significantly decrease.
It is worth noting that July to August is the traditional rainy season in Wa State, with relatively concentrated rainfall throughout the year. Continuous attention needs to be paid to the potential impact of rainfall on drainage pressure and road conditions, which may affect mining transportation efficiency. At the same time, vigilance must be maintained against geological disaster risks such as regional earthquakes, as these factors may cause periodic disruptions to the production
