Qingyang Mining's maiden voyage a success, dolomite "sets sail to go global," opening the door to the Japanese market

According to Baowu Magnesium Industry, on July 12, the first shipment of high-grade dolomite blocks for flux use from Qingyang Mining Branch of Anhui Baomei Light Alloy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingyang Mining") successfully set sail from Nantong Port to Japan. This marks Qingyang Mining's establishment of a full-chain channel from remote mountain mines to international ports, officially stepping onto the international supply chain stage.

Kaihai Jieli (a Chinese phrase meaning "a relay between river and sea"), First Voyage to Japan

The first batch of dolomite blocks for flux use exported to Japan this time represents a crucial step for Qingyang Mining in exploring the international market. The ores were transported from the mine of Anhui Baomei Light Alloy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Anhui Baomei") by land to Tongbu Port of Anhui Baomei, then by inland waterway to Nantong Port, where they were finally loaded onto a ship for departure. This meticulously planned logistics chain fully tested the company's resource scheduling and whole-process control capabilities.

Facing the heavy responsibility of its first international voyage, Qingyang Mining was fully prepared throughout the entire process. Advanced techniques were adopted in the mining process to ensure that the ore's block size, purity, and low impurity content met the stringent standards of the Japanese side. Close coordination in logistics and transportation guaranteed efficient and on-time delivery.

Quality Foundation, Winning Favour

Dolomite for flux use is a key auxiliary material in the steel smelting process, crucial for reducing smelting temperature and enhancing the purity of molten steel. As a major steel manufacturing power, Japan has extremely strict quality requirements for dolomite for flux use.

The key to successfully opening the door to the Japanese market lies in the unique high-quality ore sources and persistent technological refinement. The dolomite reserves in the mining areas under Qingyang Mining's jurisdiction are large, with high grade and low impurity content. Relying on Anhui Baomei's R&D platform, Qingyang Mining continuously optimizes its mining and processing techniques to ensure that the exported ores have stable high magnesium oxide content and extremely low harmful element content. With its outstanding and stable product quality "hard power", Qingyang Mining successfully passed multiple rounds of strict inspections by its Japanese partners and won this valuable international order.

Embarking on a New Chapter, International Layout

The successful shipment of the first shipment to Japan is a shining milestone in Qingyang Mining's development history. It not only achieved the "zero breakthrough" of direct foreign exchange earnings for the company, significantly enhancing its brand reputation in the industry, but also verified its ability to align its operational system with international market rules, laying a solid foundation for subsequent larger-scale international cooperation.

Taking this as a new starting point, Qingyang Mining is actively planning for a broader international market. On the one hand, it will continue to deepen cooperation with existing Japanese customers, striving to become their stable and reliable core supplier. On the other hand, it will also actively explore potential customers in other regions, accelerating the diversification of its international market layout. Meanwhile, Anhui Baomei will continue to invest in the construction of green mines, intelligent mining, and high-end product R&D, leveraging technology to enhance its core competitiveness and striving to become a significant force in the global flux mineral market.

100,000 mt of dolomite sets sail to go global, sounding not only the whistle of a cargo ship's departure but also the clarion call for Qingyang Mining's firm march onto the international stage. This successful maiden voyage marks a solid first step in Qingyang Mining's internationalization journey and injects new momentum into the high-quality development of the local mining economy. In the future, high-quality ore bearing the Qingyang mark will continue to contribute to the global steel industry along this newly opened maritime route, writing a new chapter of openness and cooperation.
