[400,000 mt anode material project to commence production in September]
The Phase I project of Inner Mongolia Rongli Battery Materials Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 16.5 billion yuan, is also under intensive construction. Since resuming work in February this year, the enterprise has been making every effort to advance the project schedule. The project is expected to have an annual output of 400,000 mt and will commence production and reach full capacity in September this year.
It is understood that the total investment of the project amounts to 16.5 billion yuan. The project is divided into three phases, with Phase I involving the construction of an 80,000 mt/year high-end graphite anode material production line for lithium-ion batteries and supporting facilities. Phase II and Phase III will involve the construction of 120,000 mt/year and 200,000 mt/year high-end graphite anode material production lines for lithium-ion batteries, respectively. Upon reaching full production, the project is expected to achieve an average annual output value of approximately 20 billion yuan and create around 1,000 jobs.
