Trump Imposes Tariffs on Indonesian Goods, Foreign Ministry Responds

[Trump Announces 19% Tariff on All Indonesian Goods; Ministry of Foreign Affairs Responds]
According to reports, US President Trump announced on the social media platform "Truth Social" on the 15th that the US would impose a 19% tariff on all imported Indonesian goods, while US exports to Indonesia would enjoy tariff-free and non-tariff barrier treatment.
In response to the above news, at the regular press conference of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs held on July 16th, Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Lin Jian responded to a question from a foreign media reporter asking, "What comments does China have on this?" by stating that China has always advocated for all parties to resolve economic and trade disputes through equal dialogue and consultation to maintain a good international economic and trade cooperation environment.
