On July 15th, ACG provided a project update on the Gediktepe Copper Sulphide Expansion in Turkey, confirming that development remains on schedule and within budget. The project has achieved several key milestones, including the completion of earthworks for contractor areas and the commencement of construction on the Heating Centre for the GAP Blue Collar camp. All long-lead items, such as the flotation and thickener tanks, have been ordered, with upfront payments finalized. ACG has also awarded major contracts for structural, mechanical, electrical works, as well as power line relocation. As of now, 2,100 cubic meters of concrete have been poured on site, and excavation work at the plant site has reached 74% completion. As of June 30, 2025, the project had completed 48% of engineering design and drafting, 36% of procurement, and 15% of overall construction. The sulphide expansion remains on track for commissioning in the first quarter of 2026, supporting Gediktepe’s transformation into a long-life, low-cost copper producer. Major construction activities and equipment installation are expected to ramp up through the second half of 2025, including the development of essential infrastructure and utilities such as prefabricated buildings, electrical systems, and the process water treatment plant.
